*50 of 52 bulls sold to a top of $22,000 (twice) av $9980
ABSOLUTE Angus, Trafalgar South, has had a near-total clearance at its second autumn bull sale, falling just shy of a $10,000 average.
Absolute stud principal Anthony Pisa said Gippsland was starting to get a name for breeding really good bulls.
“My genetic program is getting stronger and people are starting to realise that,” Mr Pisa said.
ABSOLUTE Angus hit a new record high of $14,000 & stud-first average of $7488 for 48 bulls offered at its 3rd annual spring sale. At the fall of the hammer, 41 bulls sold sold with the 27 rising two-year-old bulls averaging $7407, and Lot 7, Absolute Qual Q490, the sale topper at $14,000.
The yearling bulls were in hot demand with 14 selling for an impressive average of $7643 and topping their group at $11,000.

Absolute Angus’ inaugural autumn sale confirmed the stud’s breeding success with strong interest in the progeny of one bull & sales across three states.
In total, 38 of the 39 18-month-old bulls sold to an average of $5900 & a sale top of $11,000.
The top-price honours went to to Lot 3, Absolute Quandrant Q436, a son of renowned US sire, Sydgen Enhance.
*32 of 38 Angus bulls sold to $8100, av $3460.
Absolute Angus stud principal Anthony Pisa said his inaugural on-farm bull sale “exceeded all expectations” after 32 bulls were sold at auction today.
It was the first sale for the Trafalgar stud which sold 32 of 38 bulls, with four passed in, to record a top price of $8100 & an average of $3460.
